Record-Breaking Sale – Penthouse 4402 Sold Last Month for $727 Per Square Foot
For those who haven’t heard, a record breaking sale for Ten Museum Park was recorded last month. On January 8, 2015, Penthouse 4402 sold for $3.1M, or $727 per square foot. That was the highest resale ever recorded for Ten Museum Park on a price and price per square foot basis. The previous highest sales price had been Penthouse 4203 which sold for $2.2M in January 2008. On a price per square foot basis, however, the record belonged to Penthouse 4607 which sold for $600 per square foot in December 2012. Penthouse 4402 not only beat the previous records, it crushed them. This news obviously bodes well for Ten Museum Park. With prices next-door at One Thousand Museum now averaging $1,300 per square foot, the penthouse units at Ten Museum Park are starting to look mighty attractive to buyers. I expect to see more of these record-breaking sales take place throughout the rest of this year, especially once One Thousand Museum starts going vertical.
